Affiliate Program for Cell Phones

Wirefly has asked us to take a look at their InPhonic affiliate details for their affiliate program. The link we’ve provided for will take you to their brief affiliate information page and then, to their sign-up page on LinkShare.

InPhonic, along with other companies like Apple, Walmart, American Express, are using the LinkShare affiliate tracking solution. So, if you know how LinkShare works, you’ve got a good handle on how the InPhonic affiliate program operates.

InPhonic is all about cell phones, so affiliates with niche related sites should take a look at their program. Wirefly/InPhonic has won awards as Best in Overall Customer Experience for their wireless services (Awarded by Keynote Systems). If you’ve dealt with cell phone companies, you know that’s a coveted award, and probably the reason Wirefly is the number one seller of cell phones and wireless plans.

To find out the rest of their affiliate program’s terms, you have to join or be a member of the LinkShare Network. So, I’d say if cell phones are your niche this is worth taking a look and seeing how you can partner with InPhonic.

Affiliate Fundraising

Imagine taking affiliate programs and using them for charity, that’s what some people are doing on the net these days.

I came across fundraising.com and the site’s got a lot of excitement about it with a huge variety of fundraising opportunities. Seems like a very innovative website utilizing some very solid web marketing strategies while helping others with their fundraisers.

With a strong focus on church fundraising, this website is very much worth taking a peek at for budding affiliates wanting to know what to do with their coupon or daily deals website.

Branding Affiliate Classroom

Anik Singal, of Affiliate Classroom, announced an improvement for their affiliates.

We have been trying to do this for over a year, and thanks to the hard work of our editor, Helen Montgomery, this is the first month that you can directly profit from the Affiliate Classroom magazine.

In just 2 minutes you can brand almost any link in our Affiliate Classroom magazine!

This means:

1) All links going to Affiliate Classroom

You can even place your name and website prominently in the Table of Contents (it will show as being disributed by you).

Can you imagine the viral implications of this? Every month we are giving you a new viral tool to use to draw traffic to your site, to get your name branded and to earn money from the product reviews we do!

Ted’s Got Goods

Ted wanted me to tell that he’s giving away a few new 6 mega pixel digital cameras and photo printers that Hewlett Packard just happened to give to him … well, actually, I made Ted slip me a few bucks to share his news with you, meaning HP sponsored this post. Hey, even Affiliate Bloggers gotta pay the rent!Anyhow, Ted’s going to be giving these digital cameras and photo printers away as part of a whacky promotional Hp is doing to increase consumer awareness for the HP products and their HP Digital Camera buying guide informational pages.

Ted’s asked for bloggers specifically to tell him, in their most whacked out versions, why they deserve to own one of these digital products. So, you’re going to be seeing a lot of bloggers posting about Ted, his contest  and the HP digital give-aways.

Apparently Ted’s already given away one digital camera to a sobbing woman named Tamale. I think if my name was Tamale I’d be pretty tearful too! He left it for her on her desk, which makes me wonder if maybe Ted didn’t do that because he’s the reason she’s sobbing in the first place. We’re on to you Ted!

I popped on over to the HP Digital Camera buying guide pages to have look at their information on digital cameras. I’ve actually been shopping for digital cameras this year, so I can say that the information there was very helpful.

They’ve got some tips on better photo taking and how to print better photos. That’s all good stuff for a novice like me.

You guys know that HP has an affiliate program too right? Through Commission Junction’s affiliate network.

Apparently HP won “Best Computer Retailer Web Site” in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005. In addition, they also took Internet Retailer Magazine’s award for “Top 50 Retail Site” in 2003 and 2006. That’s good marketing information if you want to be an affiliate for these folks. I’m sure Ted would approve!

Okay, Ted … there’s your 5 minutes of fame on the Affiliate Blogger … Merry Christmas dude!

Reminders Calendar Helps Affiliates

American Greetings has come out with a new product for their affiliates to market. It’s an online calendar system that helps the user to remember important dates … dates that they might want to send an email greeting for.

The online calendar is a free service provided to their customers as an added value. Promotional services like that are always helpful to affiliates looking for new marketing angles.

And, one feature that I thought was very cool was that the calendar can send you reminders by text messaging your cell phone. No more forgetting birthdays, anniversaries, and special days. I don’t about you, but that free service would help keep me out of trouble!

The AmericanGreetings.com affiliate program pays a nice 40%-60% commission rate payout for every new subscription. The parent company also owns BlueMountain.com, which is where I have my account, and they offer a combined affiliate program. So, you can promote both services and get paid as one combined affiliate program. That means payouts more often for the affiliates!

Color and Ad Packs A Punch

Here’s a colorful affiliate program. I like color on landing sites because they excite the viewer to become a buyer. This site’s product is called Ad Pack.

Ad Pack is a unique new marketing product that’s designed to help you brainstorm out some new Marketing Ideas to promote your business.

They believe so much in their product, that they put up a full 100% money back guarantee. that’s impressive. Sites with guarantees do markedly better than those without it.

Ad Pack looks like a board game, and that makes it fun for people to use. For affiliates, that means sales.

I also like the way the site invites the sale as you look down the page. That’s good news for affiliates too.

Affiliate earn a 20% commission. The site looks pretty tight where affiliate leaks are concerned. the affiliate program is free to join.

I also like that the site dedicates a whole page and navigation to Who Should Buy because that’s helpful to closing sales too.

Education Niche Program

Hey affiliates, here’s another interesting affiliate program for a newly launching product line of computer based training videos that would sit within the Education niche.

Their feature training series is the Microsoft Virtualization Training videos that focus on training you to do Virtual Server and Virtual PC on the Microsoft platform.

Looks like a really solid step-by-step training program.

The affiliate program is well documented, offering 25% commission. They also welcome International affiliates. The only issue I think you’d need to ask about are the phone numbers on the site and whether they can track affiliate sales for phone sales.
